From September 9 to 12, 2026, QIBO Technology participated in VietnamPlas 2026, the 24th Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition, held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The exhibition brought together approximately 650 exhibitors from more than 15 countries and regions, covering plastics and rubber processing machinery, raw materials, recycling technologies, automation and smart manufacturing solutions.
For QIBO Technology, VietnamPlas 2026 provided an opportunity to meet plastic manufacturers, processors, material distributors and industry professionals from Vietnam and other Southeast Asian markets. During the exhibition, QIBO introduced its range of flame retardant masterbatch, flame retardant additives and functional masterbatch solutions designed for different plastic processing applications.

As plastic manufacturers increasingly focus on product safety, processing efficiency and material performance, flame retardant solutions need to be matched with the specific polymer, processing method and final application.
QIBO Technology provides customized flame retardant solutions for PP, PE, PC, ABS, PA, PET, PVC and other engineering and commodity plastics. Depending on the application, solutions can be developed for injection molding, extrusion, film blowing, sheet production, pipe manufacturing, spinning and nonwoven processing.
At VietnamPlas 2026, discussions with industry visitors focused on practical manufacturing requirements such as flame retardant performance, dosage optimization, processing compatibility, surface quality, mechanical properties and overall formulation cost.
Rather than providing a single universal additive, QIBO works with manufacturers to select suitable flame retardant systems according to resin type, processing conditions and required flame rating.
PP and PE are widely used in pipes, films, sheets, injection molded components, woven products and other plastic applications. For manufacturers in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, achieving the required flame retardancy while maintaining stable processing and controlling formulation costs can be an important part of product development.
QIBO offers flame retardant masterbatch and additive solutions for PP injection molding, PP extrusion, PE film, PE pipe, woven products and other applications.
For example, different formulations can be considered according to whether the manufacturer needs flame retardancy for an injection molded component, a thin film, a pipe or a woven product. This application-oriented approach helps manufacturers evaluate the balance between flame retardant performance, dosage and processing behavior.
PC is widely used in electrical and electronic components, transparent sheets, lighting-related applications and other high-performance plastic products. Flame retardant formulations for PC require particular attention to transparency, thermal stability, processing behavior and final product thickness.
QIBO Technology provides PC flame retardant solutions for thin sheets and molded components, including formulations designed around the processing requirements of different PC applications.
For manufacturers producing thin PC sheets, selecting an appropriate flame retardant system is especially important because excessive additive loading or incompatible formulations may affect appearance, mechanical performance and processing stability.
QIBO therefore focuses on application-specific formulation development rather than simply increasing additive dosage.
In addition to flame retardant products, QIBO Technology provides functional masterbatch solutions that can be combined with specific plastic applications.
These include anti-static, anti-UV, hydrophilic, water-repellent, softening, antibacterial and other functional additives. Such solutions can be applied to products including films, nonwoven materials, FIBC woven bags, packaging materials and other plastic products.
For example, manufacturers producing FIBC and woven products may require not only flame retardancy but also anti-static or UV resistance. Film and nonwoven manufacturers may have requirements related to surface properties, moisture management or outdoor durability.
By combining polymer knowledge with application requirements, QIBO aims to provide manufacturers with more practical material solutions instead of treating each additive as an isolated product.
A key part of QIBO Technology's service is supporting customers throughout the product development process.
Manufacturers can discuss their resin type, processing method, target flame rating, product thickness, current formulation and dosage requirements with the QIBO technical team. Based on the application, QIBO can recommend a suitable flame retardant masterbatch or additive for laboratory and production trials.
Technical documents such as TDS, MSDS and COA can also be provided according to product requirements. Sample testing allows manufacturers to evaluate processing behavior and final product performance before moving toward larger-scale production.
This approach is particularly useful for manufacturers developing new plastic products or looking for an alternative flame retardant supplier for existing formulations.
Vietnam's plastics industry is closely connected with important manufacturing sectors including electronics, automotive, packaging, construction and consumer products. VietnamPlas 2026 also highlighted the industry's focus on cost optimization, material upgrades, recycling and sustainable manufacturing.
For QIBO Technology, communication with Vietnamese and Southeast Asian manufacturers at the exhibition provided valuable insight into the material challenges faced by local plastic processors.
The exhibition also strengthened QIBO's commitment to developing localized plastic additive and flame retardant solutions for Vietnam and Southeast Asia, with a focus on practical processing requirements, stable supply and cost-effective formulations.
VietnamPlas 2026 has concluded, but QIBO Technology will continue to work with plastic manufacturers, compounders and distributors in Vietnam and other Southeast Asian markets.
Whether you are producing PP or PE pipes, plastic films, sheets, injection molded parts, woven bags, nonwoven materials or electrical components, QIBO can help evaluate suitable flame retardant and functional additive solutions based on your specific application.
If you are looking for a flame retardant masterbatch supplier for plastic manufacturing in Vietnam or Southeast Asia, contact QIBO Technology to discuss your material requirements and request a product recommendation or sample trial.
